Your Cosmic Forecast: March ‘22, part 2
There’s a lot going on in the world right now that’s infuriating and devastating for many reasons. Accessing joy, pleasure, and grounded aliveness can be a challenge, but also deeply necessary.
It’s Pisces season which means we’re deep in the feels, and connecting around what’s greater than our individual selves. We’re absorbed in global events because we remember that whatever happens across the world also affects us where we are. We’re differentiated, but we’re still all in this together.
I don’t make definitive predictions with astrology—which isn’t to say it can’t be done, or hasn’t been done for centuries (because it absolutely has)—but I say this to let you know this forecast won’t tell you when a ceasefire will be declared or how things may proceed to escalate in Eastern Europe.
Regardless of what happens, as long as we're still here we have our work cut out for us. We have a future to re-imagine and a more caring, supportive world of inter-being to build.
Our personal lives still matter even when the collective is in turmoil. But perhaps your own perspective of what matters will change. Stay open to the process.

Thursday March 17th
Mercury in Pisces sextiles Uranus in Taurus. Today brings more empathic awareness around what it means to embody liberation. We’re not free until everyone is. What does it mean to practice compassion with yourself and others even in urgent situations? What kind of emotional support and understanding are required in a crisis? What does it mean to intentionally respond instead of reacting? Today is for considering what you need to tend to yourself so you can show up fully in our fight for freedom. We need you in your messy process of deconditioning, and in your bold commitment to authenticity.
Friday March 18th
The Sun in Pisces sextiles Pluto in Capricorn. The intensity of destruction and collapse are still very much in our awareness. Today has a stirring vibe to it. New information is being revealed, entrenched dynamics are surfacing, deep feelings are being excavated. Try to stay with the discomfort without turning away from it. Today also brings a full moon in Virgo, making our bodies feel especially sensitive to disruption or whatever seems to be culminating in our lives at this point.
Saturday March 19th
Venus in Aquarius squares Uranus in Taurus. Our desires butt heads with convention, or we realize something we thought we wanted isn’t actually true to our hearts. Remember that “no” leads us into deeper relationship with our integrity and into greater alignment with our own liberation. Sometimes challenge ignites a necessary spark. Be open to relational dynamics rearranging in unexpected ways.
Sunday March 20th
The Sun enters Aries, signaling the equinox and the beginning of spring. As the light gradually stretches out before us, we find ourselves becoming the eager seeds vigorously pulling ourselves up and out of the ground. Whatever you’ve been envisioning and sitting with this winter is now rising to be brought to life and made visible. The time to take action is now.
Monday March 21st
Mercury in Pisces conjoins Jupiter. Today brings major downloads and revelatory insights. What you’re reaching for becomes magnified, and the perceived limitations become blurry. What becomes possible when you release your attachment to resisting its manifestation? Hope is a tenacious practice that might feel a little easier to access today.
Tuesday March 22nd
Mars in Aquarius squares Uranus in Taurus. Today can bring swift changes and sudden, eruptive redirections. This transit can spell a certain degree of chaos, so try to stay as grounded and regulated as you can. This sky weather looks a bit volatile, so maybe set aside any risky endeavors for the moment. Listen to your body as you navigate each step.
Wednesday March 23rd
Mercury in Pisces conjoins Neptune and sextiles the north node in Taurus. Today can bring messages that sweep us off our feet, and hurtle us into fantasyland. Notice what you’re tempted to believe today. The truth can be deceiving, especially when it applies to something that’s charged with desire. Watch for the tendency to hear what you want to hear today. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Saturday March 26th
Mercury in Pisces sextiles Pluto in Capricorn. Today might bring the wake-up call or harsh comedown from whatever deceiving trap you may have fallen for. This is a “there’s more than meets the eye” kind of transit. Conversations can feel tense, and there might be a tendency to pick at the truth submerged beneath the surface. Investigate as you please but try to be delicate in relaying the message.
Sunday March 27th
Mercury enters Aries. For the next few weeks we’ll be leaping with inspiration, and full of mental energy to initiate new endeavors. Mercury in Aries can be a little impulsive in speech, and eager to put forth new ideas without necessarily thinking them through fully. We might need the reminder to listen to others as much as insert our own opinion.
Monday March 28th
Venus in Aquarius conjoins Saturn and the north node in Taurus sextiles Neptune. Relational matters can feel serious today, and the days leading up to this can feel a little dreary and lacking in pleasure. You might find yourself making a commitment with someone you care about, or possibly ending one due to core value differences. Whatever it is, the north node’s dreamy sextile to Neptune indicates that whatever changes are happening, it won’t be difficult to see they’re for the best. At the very least, you can expect some feelings of melancholy to arise.
Wednesday March 30th
Venus in Aquarius squares the nodes. This adds fuel or pressure to establish a degree of certainty in relational dynamics or even with your own relationship to desire. Are there particular boundaries that need to be established? Are there needs that demand to be acknowledged? Is there a call for closeness or more space? Is there a dissonance between what your mind and body wants?
In these collapsing times, I’m being reminded that hope is a tenacious practice. It’s a choice we make not from the appearance of external conditions, but from a place of internal devotion to principled ideals.
As we shift from the interconnected perspective of Pisces and into the self-directing orientation of Aries, may you arrive more inspired and energized to continue this sometimes tedious, sometimes mesmerizing, always mysterious work of living.
