Your Cosmic Forecast Oct 24-Nov 6
Welcome to Scorpio season, the infamous period of plumbing psychic depths and excavating emotional residue.
With Scorpio’s ruler Mars entering his home sign on October 30th, and Mercury following suit a few days later, this Scorpio season is bound to feel extra incisive.
But cutting and cunning aside, this time of year asks us to get brutally honest about how we feel about where we are and what we have. This also means feeling into what we don’t have but may desperately desire.
Clear out the stockpiles of resentment, and begin strategizing what will bring you the satisfaction you crave and help you find security where you are.
Scorpio is notoriously known for signifying death and rebirth. Recognize the parts of you falling away with the dead leaves without neglecting to grieve their passing.
Fertilize your insides by remembering your life force is resilient and invaluable. Invest it where your tenaciousness will be revered and rewarded.

Tuesday, October 26th
Venus in Sagittarius squares retrograde Neptune in Pisces. Today into Wednesday, lather yourself in deluge if you must but remember reality is a looking glass you can’t always see through clearly. Embrace the shapeshifting. At the very least, soak up the creative vibes through music or art or anything that brings your heart a sense of expansion.
Thursday, October 28th
Venus in Sagittarius sextiles Jupiter in Aquarius. Today brings us a lovely boost of optimism and spirited hope regarding whatever leg of our journey we’re currently navigating. We may receive some brilliant insights, or encounter delightful synchronicities with others. Open yourself up to the generous bits of magic falling from the skies today.
Saturday, October 30th
The Sun in Scorpio squares Saturn in Aquarius and Mars enters Scorpio. Today might pack a punch, feel defiant and defining. Our awareness lands on some set of limitations we’re currently experiencing, and we’re encouraged to shift our response to the situation—aka embrace greater responsibility. Mars enters his home sign of Scorpio, giving us ample energy to see to our responsibilities and desires over the next month and a half.
Monday, November 1st
Mercury in Libra trines Jupiter in Aquarius. As Mercury once again touches Jupiter (both planets now moving direct), some insight is bound to flood through that we’ve been holding out for over the past month. Keep a journal or notebook on hand today.
Tuesday, November 2nd
Mercury in Libra squares Pluto in Capricorn. This is the final standoff with Pluto, as Mercury leaves their retroshade and concludes their retrograde cycle. Something that brought up a certain degree of obsession or preoccupation for you in the past month will likely be rehashed for the final go-around. What have you been learning about confronting uncomfortable truths with others you’re in relationship with? Remember that when we name the insidious thing stifling our sovereignty, we weaken its chokehold and wield the necessary sword with our tongue.
Thursday, November 4th
New moon in Scorpio with the Sun in Scorpio opposing retrograde Uranus in Taurus. This is a dark moon that can feel surprisingly urgent, and push us to the brink of sudden change. Anything that’s in the way of us surrendering to inevitable beginnings is begging to be purged. Trust what’s falling away and lean into the fertile darkness underground.
Friday, November 5th
Venus enters Capricorn and Mercury enters Scorpio. With these two planets changing signs a few days after Mars did, we’re now being ushered into a whole new rather *serious* vibe. Venus will be in Capricorn for a looong time—well into 2022—because it will retrograde in this sign for most of the winter. Venus entering Capricorn will bring our attention to the relational elements of our lives built on flourishing foundations—as well as beginning to expose those that are not. (More on that next month when the retrograde actually begins.) Mercury in Scorpio will make our minds feel like probing, uncovering, and reading between the lines.
Saturday, November 6th
Mercury in Scorpio sextiles Venus in Capricorn. A lighthearted moment that cuts through the sternness. Mercury and Venus come together to boost our spirits and find humor in the deprecation that may be arising. Talk about it, write about it, and don’t forget to laugh about it.
As things begin to get darker and spookier, remember there’s always more than meets the eye in the physical plane. The veil grows especially thin for Halloween/Samhain, so try to listen in for messages from the invisible.
As much as I try to keep these forecasts relevant, it’s likely you may not experience these transits in the same way I write about them. This is because you have your own chart that’s being uniquely aspected all of the time.
