Your Eclipse Season Guide

The final eclipse season of 2021 has arrived! This one begins with a lunar eclipse in Taurus on November 19th ushering in a new series of eclipses on the Taurus/Scorpio axis that will take us through 2023. It concludes with a final solar eclipse in Sagittarius on December 4th, marking the end of the Gemini/Sagittarius eclipse saga we’ve been experiencing since 2020.

I wrote an entire post about the Gemini/Sagittarius eclipses on my website back in January. In it, I explain when eclipses occur, what they signify symbolically, and what to watch out for when they happen.

I’ll write another post on the Taurus/Scorpio eclipses when the nodes officially shift into the signs in early 2022, but for now, keep in mind that eclipse energy can be disruptive, confusing, and a bit volatile.

It’s best to lay low, take it easy, and rest as much as possible. Try to tune in with what’s happening in your body as much as you can. Remember to stay hydrated, and not rush in too hard and fast.

To add to the chaos, the planets continue their dance, adding additional layers of plot twists to the story.

Eclipse season officially spans the two weeks between November 19th’s full moon and December 4th’s new moon.

Here’s what these next two weeks have in store:

Sunday, November 21st

Mercury in Scorpio sextiles Pluto in Capricorn and the Sun enters Sagittarius. The skies begin to lighten as the Sun enters the magnanimous and optimistic fire sign. Mercury edges us to get honest about whatever uncomfortable truths may be surfacing inside of us. Today can encourage deep and meaningful conversations with others or with ourselves so long as we don’t avoid the truth.

Tuesday, November 23rd

The Sun in Sagittarius conjoins the south node and opposes the north node in Gemini. Today finds us needing to balance our hunger for certainty with the impulse to stay flexible and open in our orientation. Notice the urgency that arises from needing an answer. Remember that right now the energy is a bit volatile, and clear answers are unlikely to be reliable.

Wednesday, November 24th

Mercury enters Sagittarius. From now through the second week of December, we may feel our minds speed up, and we may have the tendency to blurt out what’s in our heads before thinking much about it. Remember to try not to cut corners or gallop through details in your persistence to grasp the big picture.

Thursday, November 25th

Mercury in Sagittarius conjoins the south node and opposes the north node in Gemini. Today is a day for getting clear on which storylines you’re being pushed to release. Surrender to what’s beyond your control, even if your mind tries to resist and keep holding on. Take up some of your tools for discharging mental tension and anxiety. Try to remain centered in what you know you actually believe in at your core.

Friday, November 26th

Saturn in Aquarius sextiles Chiron in Aries. Today is great for clarifying boundaries that protect you from trying to be everything for everyone and overextending yourself. Being aware of your own limitations is how you make choices that reflect your true capacity to show up. This actually prevents harm and suffering down the road. As much as today is a reminder to stay in integrity, it’s also important to be gentle and patient with yourself. You’re not here to get it perfect, ever.

Sunday, November 28th

Mercury in Sagittarius conjoins the Sun in Sagittarius. A Mercury-sun cazimi is a day for downloads and spurious insights. There’s a desire to run with whatever information arises today—or to take some spontaneous detours.

Monday, November 29th

Mars in Scorpio trines Neptune in Pisces and Mercury in Sagittarius trines Chiron in Aries. Today can feel pretty disorienting and foggy. It may feel hard to focus and get things done. It’s a great day for resting and following the eclipse season protocol of not doing too much. Disappointments can feel larger than life today. Trust that this weather will pass.

Tuesday, November 30th

Mercury in Sagittarius sextiles Saturn in Aquarius, the Sun in Sagittarius trines Chiron in Aries, Venus in Capricorn sextiles Neptune in Pisces and the Sun in Sagittarius sextiles Saturn in Aquarius. Today is a loaded day of aspects in the sky, and they’re generally all supportive. Focus on the long game instead of ruminating on the small details you’re having trouble assembling. Today is a day for honing in on what you do have agency over and working with it, and leaving out what is too nebulous to concern yourself with currently.

Wednesday, December 1st

Neptune stations direct. Neptune stations can generally feel blurry and full of fog so don’t try to get too many concrete things done today. Logistics can easily get scattered. Today is another day that’s great for rest and recovery, and leaning into more creative and emotionally sensitive pursuits.

Saturday December 4th

Solar eclipse in Sagittarius. The grand finale of eclipse season arrives with a rather heady conclusion. We’re being invited to purge and let go of limiting beliefs that are interfering with our capacity to be open and receptive to the truth. This eclipse is also closely conjunct Mercury, which might have us feeling quite in our heads. Trust that whatever stories or thought cycles you feel trapped in are the ones you’re being invited to let go of.

Remember, you got this. Eclipses happen at least twice a year, and they’re nothing to fear or resist. We are meant to experience sudden plot twists and redirections. It’s the stuff that keeps life interesting and aligns us with the paths we’re truly meant to follow.

If you find yourself feeling anxious or losing control, remember to come back to the practices that feel grounding and regulating for you. Remember you don’t need to make impulsive and definitive decisions if you’re unsure of something. Being as honest as you can be with how you feel and what you know is the most recommended course of action.

As much as I try to keep these forecasts relevant, it’s likely you may not experience these transits in the same way I write about them. This is because you have your own chart that’s being uniquely aspected all of the time.

If you’re wondering how exactly these eclipses will impact your life—especially in the next two years as the new eclipse axis gets activated—you can find out by booking a reading with me.

Together, we’ll locate where you are in your process, translate the cosmic circumstances at play, and allocate resources for you to move through with clarity while staying firmly rooted in your power.
